TONTITOWN, Ark. – It's a Happy Mother's Day, indeed, for Michelle Duggar – she's pregnant with her 18th child, and says she has no plans to stop any time soon.BROTHERS AND SISTERS

The new baby, due on New Year's Day, will have seven sisters and 10 brothers, including two sets of twins. The Duggar children, all with first names beginning with "J," range from Jennifer, 9 months, to Josh, 20. They're all home-schooled.NOTHING NEW

She said she's six weeks along and doing well. She and her husband, Jim Bob Duggar, say they'll keep having children as long as God wills it.HOME SWEET HOME

The fast-growing family lives in Tontitown in northwest Arkansas in a massive 7,000-square-foot home. Chores – or "jurisdictions" – are assigned to each child.

and I would remind you....since you have turned this into a woman/versus man agenda. That it was my mother who abandoned her children, not my father. and yes...you are ANAL. Did I spell that right?? Or should that have been...correctly?? What would a man know when faced with your superiority??

Because some couples "choose" to have more than one. That's the reality.

I agree that no one should turn away from children in need, but I don't see why I as a parent should consistantly take care financially of someone else's child. I donate what I can and do what I can as a human being. I have no obligation or responsibility to someone else. I pay my taxes which is used for programs to help children and even adults who are not my responsibility. Maybe your country doesn't use the money for those programs, I don't know. I'm not familiar with it to make an assumption.

Just caught this. I am an American living in Germany. Germany has zero population growth. So does Austria. Possibly other European countries. They also have widespread and effective recycling programs and mass transit. I haven't had a car in 5 years--interesting to me how much Americans whine about the cost of gasoline when year after year they vote down proposals for more effective mass transit to be built in their communities. America pollutes the environment far more per person than any other country. America is the number culprit (with China coming in a close second) for global warming--which affects the entire world. America is not an island unto itself, it is not the center of the universe.....Oh well....I get excited

So I always thought that my mom was crazy for having 10 kids but now since I read this I think this women is crazy.I can barely handle one at times let alone 18 kids lol.

Poorer states tend to have less educated people. They also tend to attract lazy people who are looking for places with lower cost of living and a democrat state where they tend to give away everything. These states are alway behind by about ten years on many things. Too many fingers in the pie also. I get amazed with the poorer states by damn we have sports places, race tracks, beer joints and clubs, but the youth is let pass in poor schools. Then you have college student that can tell you every score for every game played in the last 20 years but don't know you don't get hot water from the water company.(true) And they all think it is their God given right to have credit.
Young couple calls the gov for assitance. They need money because the baby is sleeping in a carboard box that their new 60' plasma TV came in................... crazy!
