I hate it when the women do that synthetically or otherwise, Satellite. Reminds me of when my ex-girlfriend let me have it and declared under artificial mood persuasion that she wanted to be my girlfriend again but luckily I look younger than my stated age!

Ya know women like sex too.

Did I come on too strong?

Seriously though maybe this is her way of telling you she would like a little physical contact.

Well that's a bloody big jump to asking to be his fiancée laugh

If someone asked me to marry him today..he knows who he is...I would do it in a heartbeat and not bother to put shoes on before heading to the justice of the peace...IF he agreed to do it right away and no more "trials".... anyone else and I'd laugh...not ready for that yet

Satellite, something in this scenario sounds really off. Oh, sure - you like this lady, you feel it's about time to settle, so you DID like the idea. And time might show that the two of you ARE right for each other but at this stage from the way you described it just doesn't sound right. Enjoy your new status but be careful and you got great advice already from many: being in love is #1 criteria.
