Don't get me wrong, I don't mean it in a snobby way, but more as a suggestion. I know that bad spelling & dyslexia are not a sign of a persons IQ! It is easy enough to spell things wrong if you are tired or rushing, but some of the spelling that crops up is ridiculous. Of course, it CAN be highly amusing, but I'm sure the person who wrote the message or forum etc. may not appreciate the fact that they are the cause of my laugh for the day! Lol...
Spell checkers are easy & quick to use, if English is your first language there should be no problem. Should there???.

Aye could knot agree moor! Their our few things that aye find sew annoying!

Seriously, I started a thread awhile back making some modest suggestions about grammar and spelling, which everyone here found highly edifying and entertaining. At least that's my recollection of what happened.innocent blushing

WOW softtouch6 haha - when you said you'd got a response to this you werent kidding! haha...

I've got to admit, spelling and grammar on here does irritate me alittle..but then again, I am a teacher, so I guess it's in my blood to be picky like that lol!

I don't expect everyones grammar to be perfect, as even MINE isn't. However, it does impress me more when peoples' spelling/grammar etc is actually understandable and intelligent lol.

Go grammar/spelling/spell checker addicts!!!!!!!!!!!applause head banger cheering yay

surely as a teacher you would have more understanding towards posters where English is

not there first language? and it is an opportunity for them to improve.

Its all in good funhug

Some people may not have been as lucky as you to have a full education...

To highlight that and to say it irritates you is bound to hurt some people...

Best to brace yourself for some hard responses when taking low shots like thathug

(schools out..So is the grammar laugh )

I guess to be honest i get irritated by the constant complaints about spelling/grammar. Before some one says its easy to get an education, is not always true when you have to hold down a full time job and still have a personal life.

This is dating site not an interview for a job. Some times the chat is fast and flowing and people don't have time to check spelling. Its suppose to be fun.
