A compliment and you not consider it a "come on" from herconfused

Seems to me that fellers appreciate a compliment every once-in-awhile too, but it seems some guys are so used to women making fun of them that a compliment can be misunderstooddunno

So are compliments best left for the ladies to recieve?

My heart is one of encouragement, that's why I seldom say too many negative things here on CS or really even in life. So my compliments to ladies does not mean I'm gay...nor do my compliments to gents mean anything more than kind words of appreciation. I just like to lift the spirits of others and make them smile.

I worry that paying too many compliments to either sex.. looks like a come on. laugh

I don't think every man would consider it a "come on" from her. Though some probably will. You take your chance and sometimes it worth it to make some-one's day :)
A few weeks ago I complimented a man at work saying that his new haircut looks very handsome. And couple of days later he told me that he felt like smiling all day and kept checking his haircut in the mirror every now and then. So I guess men need compliments too :)

I have difficulty accepting compliments. They make me unconfortable. But O do not take them aa a hook-up attempt. I also realize that most compliments don't come from the heart.....they are superficial(spell police?), at best

My compliments whether to ladies or gents always come from the heartheart beating course, it's that little ole heart beating that keeps getting me into trouble...like the kitty rescue I have now cause of my little of heart beating not being able to send them to the pound when I wasn't able to find them good homessmitten

I'm too old, yet young at heart beating to be faking who I am nowwine

Hhm.... I have to wonder how you can truly know for sure that most compliments don't come from the heart since no one can read another person's mind - we can only make assumptions based on body language and our other powers of observations and outright asking the other person. When YOU give a compliment is it not genuine?????????
