Hi Sparky!!!

Actually, I think the timing could be perfect! Many people are discouraged due to the choices we have. They don't want to vote for the selected candidates. If Barr can run full force from now until November AND if the Media will cover him, he could stand a chance. A real good chance. If we will all vote for him instead of thinking, well, he's a good choice, but he will never make it... It could happen! Many times the "Winner" has been a long shot. It happends all the time in the horse races. What's the difference when ya got a lot of jackasses in a race?

I can't argue with that. It is a mindset we have sometimes. With that in mind, if he gets some momentum I'd be willing to vote for him myself. Ofcourse, I need to actually look at him first even though I consider myself a libertarian

Just to muddy the water a little more, I'd like Bloomberg get in the race. That would really muddy the water. I'd never vote for him, but what the hell....the more the merrier. laugh

Well Indy, do you think Bob Barr would be a good choice? Would you vote for him, over all the other candidates?

Well angel, that's going to happen in about 7 months, no matter who you vote for, or even if you don't.

I meant who cares between McCain and either Obama or Hillary. As an Alabamian once said long ago, there's not a dime's worth of difference between a Republican and a Democrat. I didn't agree with him at the time, but I'm beginning to.

I refuse to vote for McCain, Obama, or Hilary. I'm penciling in Ron Paul just because I'm not giving my vote to any of the others. I know he won't win from my vote but I know many of his supporters are also penciling him in. I'll bet he'd be the most penciled in candidate in history.

I hope that you realize that I'm being totally facetious, given his performance as VP and that little book of all the insane things he said at the worst of times...or am I? Perhaps no living human can, could or should represent the US as only Dan could and would! Dan where iz yu!?

Did not think you were serious, that's why I answered cautiously with an unbiased answer. Thought to myself, he can't possibly be serious...

I think it's worth consideration. I would want to hear what he'd do to cut out the cancerous growth of the federal government; both in general expenditures and power over states/individuals.

I don't think he'd "sell" well.......but hey, it's a suck ass year for the major parties. Sooooooooo
