can someone tell me what a bunny boiler is?

its referred to often on CS
pointed reark towards me
but ive no idea what the #%$! it means...?
or why women accuse me of it?

i do know a watched pot never boils...
and the pot kettle reference
but the boiled rabbit

It's from a scene in a movie: guy has an affair with lady, lady turns out to be psycho, guy comes home to find daughter's pet bunny boiling on the stove.

I can't remember the name of the movie

Quite simply Bunny boiler is a mentalist who will be nasty and do vindictive things in a break up...Like serve the family pet up with some potatos and carrots.
