I cant stand make up, it makes my face feel all cloggy and I cant keep my hands from touching at it so it soon looks a mess laugh

I was quite surprised recently to discover that a friend has the most beautiful collection of freckles and she keeps them covered up all the time - sad I think.............

My first thread so racking my brains for something not repeating.
I prefer a lady with natural wholesome beauty, a little or no make-up when going out, not a guy that digs the whole trolly dolly sheebang.
Do you like to totally do the princess thing or just present yourself with minimum assistance? no insult intended at all, my sister takes her straightening iron camping.

LOL she takes her iron camping? that is cute, as for me natural comes closer to me it feels like a mask when i put make up on, no offense intended to the ladies who do wear it i just can't stand the feel of it is all, i will make up every once in a blue moon.lips

I'll wear some makeup to enhance my looks ..... but usually very little as my skin is extremely sensitive. Mascara drives me nuts as it makes my eyes itchy - I've been thinking about getting my eyelashes dyed .... but I'd need to check into it more as to the lasting effects and possible reactions.

I've got it down to less than five minutes ........ so its really not a long production.

Its kinda funny because a girl came into our store from MAC ..... letting us know about makeup lessons etc. and I'm thinking there's no way in hell I'd get her to do my makeup. The blue eyeshadow was visible from across the hallway ........... less is more in my thoughts ..... I don't want to resemble Tammy Faye Baker.

I tend twords women that use minimal makeup, less is more to me, I look more for the glow of happiness, a sparkel in thier eyes, that is sexier to me than all the makeup you can put on.

I tried wearing makeup once when I went to my doctor and he told me that makeup cloggs your pores.

He advised washing my face with mild soap and luckwarm water and maybe alittle powder if I went our in the evening.

Sorry au natural.... is what I am.... sags wags, and wrinkles.... only thing not natural is the hair color.... getting a job with all white hair gives the wrong impression to 23 yr olds interviewing you.

Don't use stinky smellie stuff either

Hi trish..I believe it depends on different peoples natural complection. However, too much can be a quick sign of the possibility of obsession with vanity which opens up a big can of worms if you think further.

I personally like either classy moderation if I'm out or none if the woman is so confident with her looks being natural. When I'm in a relationship and it's a rainy Sunday just cozying up watching movies for example....I personally prefer 100% natural because that's the best beauty in my eyes. Please don't misread me..I'm never a controling guy who tells his love what to do, wear, etc...Only if asked or in a complimentary fashion.

Great Thread!!!

I DO wear makeup (I think I must be in the minority here, lol!)...as a Mary Kay consultant I have been trained on the proper way to apply it so you do not look "made-up" or "mask-like" which I hate seeing on a woman. During the day I wear natural looking colors and if I were to go out (heaven forbid I should actually be asked out, lol) I wear a bit more dramatic...but still, not overly made-up, just very nice wine

Trust me, you DO NOT want to see me without makeup uh oh! Not a pretty picture, I assure you scold
