and I haaaaaaaaaaate it... blues frustrated

It's the wrong colour and I donnntt liiiiike it... grrr.. what a waste of time (and money) that was..

I haven't had a bedroom for 2.5yrs.. so I reeeeeeeally want it too be perfect. crying

(these things are important haha)

AND!... my new bed is coming on Saturday.. so I have to get it done. frustrated

I'm going for the Boudoir/Brothel (haha) look...

But now I'm worried with all I have bought.. (and the colour it is at the moment)... it's going to look more like an explosion in a paint factory run by drag queens. I think I may have got it sooooooooo wrong.

Sorry to hear that .......... you didn't notice the color after the first section was completed?????

Perhaps take some samples of items that you'll have in your bedroom down to the paint store and get them to coordinate a colour that will work.

Maybe when you get the furniture in there it'll look different?
That usually helps...

I know how much work and effort goes into painting. I recently painted my entire house... 4 bedrooms, living room, dining room, and library. All of the rooms are different colors.

I sure do hope it looks better after the furniture and essentials are added. Hope it is something you can live with!

Glad you are finally getting a room of your own... it feels good, doesn't it?!hug

Pffffft!.. that's why I didn't spend too much money on the new bed (tho I have a fabby new mattress!)

I doubt it's going to need to be very heavy duty..

more than likely I will be blowing the cobwebs off it .. laugh

Yeaaaah.. I am thrilled!... applause I can't waaaaaaaait until it's done.

I have at the moment.. dark red lower third of the walls.. (tho wrong red!!)... cream on the top two thirds.. (and a dado rail.. yanno that wooden rail that runs around the room)...

A silver fire place.. (well metal anyway haha)..

hot pink (haha).. shot satin curtains.. some gorrrrreous boudoir looking lamps I bought the other day.

Mirrors.. silver metal lightshade.. purdy silver fire-guard and chromey curtain pole (that match the fireplace) with blue big (fake lol) sapphires on the ends.. oh and these cool chrome big hook things that hold back the curtains.

oh and the MOST gorgeous satin and taffeta bedding sets and cushions.

The chaps are coming to measure for the carpet today.. but I STILL don't know what colour.

Gawwwwddd this is SUCH hard work.. It was waaay easier sleeping on the bed settee (sofa) laugh

anyyhoooo... as you can probably tell.. it's probably going to end up looking like a complete mish mash of crap.. laugh

I also need help in picking exterior colours for my place. Any suggestions?
Was thinking a forest green trim, doors and roof with an off white or creamy colour for siding.
