WOW Claayer!! What a project!!! I wish I was there!! I love interior design!! In fact I had to design a community center last semester, the actual building, where all the equipment was, the furniture that needed to be inside, the tile, the paint color, the fabrics to be used, the color of the furniture, the plants... the whole 9 yards!! It was TONS of fun!! I loved it!! I made what is called a finish board... ummm it may help you... you make a board.. like a thick poster board, a poster board would work, and you put all the colors on there. Like since you painted your wall two colors, you would paint the top half of the board the cream color, and the bottom half the red color then put the railing through the middle. Then you take a piece of fabric the same color as your bedspread, and find a piece of metal the same color as your bed/fireplace. You dont tear up your stuff though to do this!! lol!! I went to Walmart and dug through their clearance bins in the arts and crafts section and found most of what I needed. For the metal, I just went to the hardware and bought a set of door hinges the color that I wanted, it was the cheapest way to go!! lol!! We were supposed to spend less than 50 bucks on our finish board, so the clearance isle was the way to go!!

I think you get the point, just get all of the colors and textures that you have, and put them all together in one place so that you can see how everything goes together and see what you need to go with it to make it all match... and you can take it with you when you go shopping to find more stuff!!

You could try it if you want!!!

Oh and yes I got an A for the project as well as the class!! So yes I do know what im talking about!! lol!!

and I haaaaaaaaaaate it...

It's the wrong colour and I donnntt liiiiike it... grrr.. what a waste of time (and money) that was..

I haven't had a bedroom for 2.5yrs.. so I reeeeeeeally want it too be perfect.

(these things are important haha)AND!... my new bed is coming on Saturday.. so I have to get it done.

I'm going for the Boudoir/Brothel (haha) look ...

But now I'm worried with all I have bought.. (and the colour it is at the moment)... it's going to look more like an explosion in a paint factory run by drag queens. I think I may have got it sooooooooo wrong.

Mirrors and lights ( recessed lighting or lamps) can soften the harsh effect of too much......
