Or change the light bulb for one with a colour coating, blue. red. deep yellow or green...or if your paint is water soluble, wash out some of it with warm water and sponges to brighten it, fade it; turpentine if oil based...washing the paint completely changes the wall effects also, which you may like. If it is too much work you may wish to re-paint the room at your leisure if the furniture arrives before you can complete it. Post some photos of your custom made brothel decor, you might get good ideas from others!! %D

Aww, I wish I was there to help!!! I would do it in a heart beat!! It really is tons of fun!! And who knnows, maybe after a while the color will grow on you! Once you put all of the furnishings in maybe it wont seem to jump out at you so much!!

You could try adding a little brown- A Little- to your paint that you already have to try and darken it a little, or white to lighten... Then paint over top of what you have?? Only do a small spot and wait until it dries before deciding if you like it!! I am no painting expert though, just seems logical, though I have never attempted it and really have no clue how it would turn out!!

Next month I have to paint a 6000 sq foot house.

Yeah, it's hard to visualize the color perfectly accurately until you've covered a fairly large area with it, unfortunately. Like when I painted my room a flamboyant shade of pink with the idea of giving it more class...it wasn't until I was more than halfway through when I realized how gay it looked. Ah, well. I suppose I'll just have to break down and buy some pink tutus to match it.
