It can only get better i know how you feel my father died on my sons birthday i had spent the whole day getting his cake and gift only to get a call from my sister that we had to board the next flight out to florida. hope the rest of the day is a gem for and you get showered with flowers and gifts happy birthday

My son got three chicks for easter one year, they were died green, red, and yellow... they all turned out to be roosters, and noisy and nasty!!

I think I have changed my mind about the paint again.. I decided on a different colour.. I think.

Sorry to hear about this. I used to do the same kind of work, but was drafted into it by a woman who was like a mother to me. One night I just felt like I had to stay at her house and sleep, so I crashed on the couch. Last trip to her room was at about midnight, she sat there pretending she was cuddling the baby (I was about 3 months pregnant) after it was born. Woke up at 3AM and knew she was gone as soon as I saw her. She never slept with her arm like that. Got the spoon, did what I had to...then had to wake up the family and tell them. That totally sucked! The first, the adult son, I even had to go through all of it all over again, just to make it REAL for him. I remember my body trying to go through what I was supposed to do, by the book, while my brain was outside it screaming NOOOO!
I think it was about 5am when I asked the priest and the cop if they needed me anymore, or if I could please leave now.

Sorry for your totally sucky morning.

sorry to hear how your day started, I also used to work with the elderly, and know how hard it is when they pass. Finding him like that must have been hard, and having to contact his family, now the day has to get better.

It has been a funny ole morning.. I haven't learnt a lot today.

He was 56yr Kitty.. not very old is it.. poor chap. He was such a nice kind soul, helped anyone and everyone.. and not ONE of them came to see him while he was ill.. not one.
