Dude,

I mentioned this earlier. I am looking forward to Obama/Mccain campaign in the fall. If he loses to McCain.....far left is in hurt city in the US. Hillary and her Dem machine will come back with a vengance on him and the far left. Far left will not get another chance for 10-15
years.

Barah if he loses.....he gets a couple of choices, I think. We talked of them in a earlier blog. But Hillary and the mod dems will seal him and the far left away from the Dem party leadership.

I see this as a chance to crunch the far left in the US. So smiles here :-)

The mod dem and Hillary see Barak and the far left as stealing her run for the Presidency. She was so confident that this was hers when it began. Now....with FL and MI being cancelled out by him.....and they
feel this to be unfair politics. So? They will not be nice and gracious if he loses to McCain, guarrenteed. They will try to bury him....

This is why you are misguided. When you decide to use facts (I do appreciate you trying by the way) you pick and choose in such a haphazard way. I don't like the choices our pres made regarding Iraq. Did you know all the dems were repeatedly saying Iraqi leadership should be overthrown and there were WMDs there before Bush was in office? How would you have responded to the attack on 9/11? Does it even show on your radar that we have not been attacked on our soil since? Does that justify the bad decisions? In my mind no. But it does give him the right to a little slack. It also should give someone the LIVES here the courtesy not to accuse MY president of being some simple minded white collar criminal interested only in advancing his own financial position.

Do you know of one American that was deprived health care for a serious ailment? Do you know poverty entitlements are WAY UP under Bush Administration MUCH higher than any other admin? Personally that disgusts me along with a lot of his other spending.

Liberals hate Bush so much that if there was even one shred of evidence of all their slander he would be crucified by now (literally if they had their way) If you CARED as you say, you would be even SLIGHTLY objective. You marginalize people who live in the South (ME), you spew speculation and far left hate cries.

Ending the war was put to a vote and what did the dems do? Voted AGAINST it by a LANDSLIDE.

All things considered, the state of the Union is fair. Thanks for inquiring. There are problems, but we've sure seen worse, much worse.

Bush does have one of the lowest popularity ratings in history. To his benefit though, Congress' is much lower. I'll have to check to see who controls both houses of congress...

1 in 10 Americans going to bed hungry. I'd like to see a legitimate source for that. Hell, I went to bed hungry last night; by choice. If someone truly goes to bed hungry, it's probably from ignorance. There's food pantries all over the country. There's not a night that goes by that I don't see a "free food" advertisement from the Dept. of Agriculture (food stamps).

Obama hasn't told us the war is "illegal"....when he says it, I might believe it. (or even Hillary)

How one can connect a war and health insurance is quite interesting. There's no correlation at all.

The state of the race........

Barack Obama, 1612 pledged delegates, 302 Super delegates, Total number is: 1914

Hillary Clinton, 1443 pledged delegates, 279 Super delegates, Total number is: 1722

Obama leads by 192 pledged delegates and Super delegates and there are 23 Super delegates more on Obama,s side!

Obama needs only 111 delegates and Super delegates more to get the majority needed becoming the democratic candidate whom is going to fight a gainst McCain in order to get the most important job on Earht!

I am surely looking forward to see the results of tommorow in Kentucky and Oregon.

Oregon seems being in favor of Hillary and Kentucky will support Obama as it seems like...but still no body knows for real what is going to happen tomorrow any way. What I hope is Obama,s message and Hillary,s message has been heard by people from both states and I hope they decide wisely and as they really want to and not allowing them selves being affected by Republican Spin and Flip flopping!

I will be SHOCKED if obama wins Kentucky.

You still don't get that it only takes SUPERDELEGATES to win the nomination? THat's how the Dems set it up. TO overthrow the popular vote. Read the system. You'll understand it a bit better. and the Superdelegates endorsements can be changed at any time up until the actual selection of the candidate. Popular vote and the "regular delegates" have nothing to do with it. Open your eyes.....

"The superdelegates may make a difference this year because the race between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is so close. After all the voting is done, if neither candidate has a commanding lead in pledged delegates, votes of the superdelegates could decide which of the two becomes the Democratic candidate."

http://www.buffalo.edu/news/9177

THis article explains the whole "Superdelegate/delegate" system.

Alfalfa...........

Sure democrates has been supporting this war earlier....but they changes their views when they found out a bout the realities regarding the war. thats the main differnece and that exactly why both houses are under the influence of democrates for the first time in years!

Attack of 9/11 was a terrible act a gainst humanity for sure and Afghanistan was attacked afte rthat and almost a whole world stood behind that war and supported America in her fight a gainst terrorism......no doubt a bout that But!!!!! All of a sudden another country with not a link what so ever with Alqueda and all those organisations behind it was attacked with out any support from Security council and while billions of human beings from all over the world siad No! What had 9/11 to do with Iraq? Not a thing...WMD,s of Iraq and Uranium shipments from Africa to Saddam and a lot other lies as those were shoved upon all of us and then a true Anarchy and mass slaughter began in poor Iraq in 2003 and by that the whole real fight a gainst terrorism in Afghanistan were sat a side.....Taliban to day is much stronger by this and real terrorists laughing their ass out of all of us because of the wrong decicions and misinformations and lies and the way Greed has made american decision makers to concentrate on some thing else than war a gainst terrorism.

You ask what I would do after 9/11? The answer is very clear....I would go after them in Afghanistan and Pakistan as well and would stay on that course until the battle was over and Alqueda was history....Exactly as Obama tells the battle must going on!

I would not start one Verbal fight after an other with Russia and China and making those two very important super powers to help fighting the fight instead of irritating them and making fun of them and acting as they are not important at all!

I would not just stating on One single aggressiv course and just keep bombing any one whom seems to be on the other side and would start talking and negotiating wiht any body whom can have relevence in winning the fight and I would not demand acceptence of a whole package of Bushney solutions before starting any talk! I would be wise enough to know that huge diferences needs acceptance of small steps and building furter of the same small steps!

I know exaclty what I would do after 9/11 and would kick asses exaclty there where asses should be kicked and would never Rape a whole country and murdering so many human beings and making so many others homeless and being refugees ......No way I would ever doing some stupied act as that one !

Obama is kicking McCains a$$ in foreign policy debate....Intelligence vs. fear and war mongering. I'm betting on intelligence.

By LIBBY QUAID, Associated Press Writer
1 hour, 1 minute ago

CHICAGO - Republican John McCain accused Democrat Barack Obama of inexperience and reckless judgment for saying Iran does not pose the same serious threat to the United States as the Soviet Union did in its day. McCain made the attack Monday in Chicago, Obama's home turf.

"Such a statement betrays the depth of Senator Obama's inexperience and reckless judgment. These are very serious deficiencies for an American president to possess," McCain said in an appearance at the restaurant industry's annual meeting.

He was referring to comments Obama made Sunday in Pendleton, Ore.: "Iran, Cuba, Venezuela — these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don't pose a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union posed a threat to us. And yet we were willing to talk to the Soviet Union at the time when they were saying, `We're going to wipe you off the planet.'"

A video clip of Obama making the comments was distributed Monday by McCain's campaign.

McCain listed the dangers he sees from Iran: It provides deadly explosive devices used to kill U.S. soldiers in Iraq, sponsors terrorists in Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East and is committed to the destruction of Israel.

"The threat the government of Iran poses is anything but tiny," McCain said.

Responding to McCain, Obama told a town hall rally later Monday in Billings, Mont., "Let me be absolutely clear: Iran is a grave threat." But the Soviet Union posed an added threat, he said. "The Soviet Union had thousands of nuclear weapons, and Iran doesn't have one."

Obama said the threat from Iraq had grown as a result of the U.S. war in Iraq. "Iran is the biggest single beneficiary of the war in Iraq," he said. "John McCain wants to double down that failed policy." If McCain is elected, Obama said, "We'll keep talking tough in Washington, while countries like Iran ignore our tough talk."

The alternative, Obama said, is to follow the example of Presidents Kennedy and Reagan who negotiated with the Soviet Union. Obama called for "tough, disciplined and direct diplomacy. That's what Kennedy did; that's what Reagan did."

At the heart of the dispute between the candidates is Obama's assertion that, as president, he would meet with leaders of these rogue countries without preconditions. Obama insists that direct engagement with the Soviets helped prevent nuclear war and, over time, helped to bring down the Berlin Wall.

THE LARDASSIFICATION OF AMERICA

I read a story in the Washington Post about the death of a young woman. This ultra-huge died in her sleep. Her mom blamed it on obesity. Possibly so ... her mom is obese herself. In the story the mom bemoans the lack of "affordable" weight loss clinics and exercise facilities. Oh boy ... here we go. As we know, in the modern USA every single item or service that a person could possibly need or even want must be affordable. The new mantra is that there is something wrong with our country, our economy and our government if someone wants something they can't afford to buy. Uh oh! Suddenly we have an issue of "affordability!" So look out folks ... here comes the call for "affordable" weight loss clinics and exercise spas. How do we make them affordable? Why, through tax credits or other taxpayer-funded subsidies, of course. They had a memorial party for the teenager. Featured at the party were all of her favorite fried foods.
