Stop doing the romantic things that he did to "win your heart?"

Seems when the guys are "on the hunt" or "on the mission" to win the lady's heart, he will do all sorts of crazy things to get her attention, then once the "prize" is won, he quits trying.

Which part of "Men, We will want to be Romanced the rest of our lives" does a man not get???confused

Men want the physically intimacy, but forget what it took in the first place to talk us into ithandshake

Women don't lose interest in sex, just are waiting for the men to realize we enjoy the chase as much as they did from the startteddy bear

That's the story of my last marriage laugh

I explained to him what I needed, but he told me. "We have a good thing going here (meaning the domestic setup), why would you want to leave?"

Complimentary “Put Another Log on the Fire - Tompall Glaser” Ringtone

Put another log on the fire.
Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
And go out to the car and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.
Come on, baby, you can fill my pipe,
And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.
Then put another log on the fire, babe,
And come and tell me why you're leaving me.

Now don't I let you wash the car on Sunday?
Don't I warn you when you're gettin fat?
Ain't I a-gonna take you fishin' with me someday?
Well, a man can't love a woman more than that.
Ain't I always nice to your kid sister?
Don't I take her driving every night?
So, sit here at my feet 'cos I like you when you're sweet,
And you know it ain't feminine to fight.

So, put another log on the fire.
Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
Go out to the car and lift it up and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.
Come on, baby, you can fill my pipe,
And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.
Then put another log on the fire, babe,
And come and tell me why you're leaving me.

haha yeah.. yawn zzzz

I think things become very boring if there is no effort... Once the effort stops, it's a down hill slide for one.. or both of you. imo

Like I've said somewhere here before ..

A relationship is like a garden.. if you don't tend to it and make and effort with it.. it just falls apart doesn't it. .. and who wants a crappy garden.

My garden is fecked!

My bench is broken .. some of my garden lights are buggered.. and I STILL haven't put up my new bamboo lights! laugh

Hi Joanie wave hug

easy to take something for granted when you have, and realize when it's too late and you have lost it

You need us to keep the spark well and truly alight, so the good ol flames of lust a keep a leaping.........

and we need you to still make the effort of looking like the foxyist fox that ever foxed a cunning fox and to keep on whispering those ever so enticing sweet nothings.....

For most men it's all about the chase/hunt. Once it's over....it's over. Women can be the same way too. Once they got their man, they forget all the things they did to attract him. We all seem fall into "comfortable" mode. It takes two to really keep a marriage going these days.
