I took my fork course about a month ago i past my writting test but when i came to drive one it was pretty hard the one that work with a battery if you drop the handle it stoped that one is 8000 lbs i had so much diffeculties to handle it when i had to turn it to reach my pallets
i fail that one but it's good that i fail because 90% of accident occur with that fork lift 25 % people had died while working with that one some had turn on the side some hits the beams ect... and the cost to a damage beam in a store is 30.000$ plus 25.000$ ticket plus your licence revoked it's a good chance that i didn't hit the beam while i was driving it

i like the wave fork lift but i fail that one too i put myself to high and bang my head on a sign .............lol.

and for the one propane gaz it is the worst machine i've seen i just back off because they had too many stick to handle at the same time one to turn left or right the other one for moving forward or backward and one to control your fork plus your gaz petal ect... to complicated.

i was supposed to take the couse back but it's really hard manuevring those machine for couples of dollar$ more / hour and risking my life it doesn't worth it.

couple of co-worker had laught at me while i was doing the course because i am 85 lbs my boss was mad at them because of that he told them that i had enough gut's at least to try.

the course is 2.200$ but i've learn alot on fork lift even if i don't have my licence to drive them

does anyone here drive a fork-lift and could give me some tips if i decide to take the course again.

I drove a fork truck about 25 years ago. Never drive a fork truck off a dock unless there's a semi backed up to the door. They tend to land hard. laugh
