Beyond The Limit

Posted: May 20, 2008, 8:32 AM CST
I have an encouraging T-shirt which reads...

LIMITS WERE MADE TO BE BROKEN

In what ways do you go Beyond The Limit?

In your life, lifestyle, relationships?

This can be in any area of your life.

Feel free to interact with one another here with your comments.

We all want to learn and grow to be more positive as we travel on our journey through life. In many areas, the NORM is set. What I am looking for here, are behaviors or things you do which you think go beyond the status quo of Normal. These things can be spiritual, sensual, or whatever you choose.

Let's see how many EXTRAORDINARY People we have here on CS!

I don't have a clue as to what my limits are? I feel like I go beyond them everyday in most anything I do!
Except my days off, then I am way below stantards.

Intimacy...

With God... I like to take time to "Romance the Lord".
It brings me deeper into His presence where He fills me with Love unending, like a spring which has no end. As the love ebbs, like the waves on the shore, I am unable to move, only to receive it. Total communion in the shared moment. A very deep intimacy. I do not believe that many take the time to tap into this source. I believe I go Beyond The Limit, or Norm, for people who have some kind of "religion" in their life, although it is here for all who desire, to attain.

With Man... There are levels to be attained intimately with a partner, without having sexual intercourse, which go way beyond what the normal sex act gives. I feel that "sex addiction" is a very shallow place, in which too many have given too much priority. Feeling energies exchanged through very light touching of the flesh, or silken garments, are very erotic. I like exploring new ways of sharing intimacy with a partner. I believe this goes Beyond The Limit of what most would or have experienced.

Healthy, I love you dearly, But I am not sure I understand what you mean. Or what you want to know.
I Can't quite see how there can be a standard of limits on intimacy? If you are in love then intimacy is showing your emotions physically, and the only limits are on how much you love.

intimacy gives more life to love, and love to life! Awww heck I am just a romantic who likes sex, to bad cant get it!

Would you say that love is a "spiritual experience"? I would think that for many, it is not. I believe that taking it beyond the limit, would be to exceed the norm of it not being a spiritual experience, and place your expression of intimacy with a partner, into a spiritual experience. I am not sure if a nonspiritual person can attain this concept. Perhaps this is what I am trying to find out here. Do not spiritual people have this type of intimacy with their partner? Can they enter another plane or dimension without a spirituality about them? I believe the two are intertwined.

The only limitations I have are the ones that I impose on myself.

I have no limitations that I'm aware of, I don't see any need for them because that could lead into not fulfilling my goals and dreams. Life is full of possibilities if we dare to do them.

You could have claimed it was a spiritual thing, and you were only acting on your religion. And if you claim your yard as your church you wont have to pay taxes either! 2 for 1

Yep as soon as I find the section in the bible that states "And Jesus addressed the masses and said "Make sure you have a fly wank on the Sabboth, not in church mind, the priest's will crucify me for it!"

That sounds like a winner

Hi HL

wave Hey girl!!!!!

Imposing limitations on oneself is something that most do. It is not a bad thing and there are many areas of our lives that require limitations. It is part of self-control.

You said the "Key Word" here... " Life is full of possibilities if we dare to do them. "

Ok, this response is for everyone:

This is what I am looking for... Do you DARE to go beyond the standard "set" limits???

Do you know that you have abilities that far reach what most attain in their lifetime? Are you a "dare devil"? Or are you satisfied with just getting by, not rocking the boat, not wanting others to think you are "wierd"?

What is keeping you from being ALL you can be? Are you adventurous and do you like to explore New Things? Or are you set in a mold which refuses to budge?

Well he could have said he was wackin his weeds, and trying to save on fuel by using his hands in stead of the weed wacker, Couldn't he? Then he is helping the economy and it could be conciderd spiritual, After all he was using his God given hand.

I take it you were only using one hand correct?
