I just say, "This is my man." I see nothing wrong with boyfriend/girlfriend. It's up to the couple and what they like to be called. I don't think age should determine it.

I asked this question a while back, didn't come up with any good alternatives. Lady friend is ok, but gentleman friend? I don't think so. What do you like to be called ship? Anything else I've heard sounds too dorky or too serious.
