Chappaquiddick has come home to roost

Something simliar happened to a friend of mine.
He went to go get his drunk girlfriend at a party to gring her home (the house was way out in country). There was a head on collision that wasn't his fault. The other driver admitted she swerved to avoid a dead animal and didn't see his headlights. No body died, everyone lived to see another day.
My friend, who suffered a brain injury in the accident, ran to find help and passed out in a ditch. The cops found him the next morning and charged him for fleeing the scene of an accident for which he is serving 4 years in Prison

SO in a nutshell: OL' Ted got off pretty easy for taking someones life

Well, I am not a fan of Kennedy. In fact, I have never liked him because of the Chappequiddick death and the drinking but I wont be finding any comfort or humor in his illness and/or death.

I seriously could NOT care any less than I do about your poll. Your poll does not serve you as anything but a person who threw up a poll.........wOw ..... check my post in your poll when it was first there, and earlier in this thread, very fitting ..........

Yes, you are right, as far as I can tell, your brain has an amazing way for being judgmental, holier than thou in opinions. Your brain is amazing to post a thread - in a way to celebrate what you see as "karma" for his "sins". Your brain is amazing that you think yourself a person of totally moral stature who has never committed ANY crime against human nature.

If you understood ANYTHING about karma, then you would understand that it would be better to look away and NOT judge, than to point out that it is infact karma. You do not know that. You are not a higher power nor are you the master of karma.

Yeh, your brain is amazing alright, but not in the way that you think.

I don't think we should pat ourselves on the back for coming up with clever one liners over the poor health of another human being.

We've all done bad things.
We've all done things that could have turned out wrong.
Things that follow you until you die.

Senator Kennedy has done some good things, as well.
As we all have.

I wouldn't want people here scrambling over each other trying to come up with the best way to say:

HA! You're sick! I Never Liked You!
Go! Die! Ha!

When something comes for me.

Unfortunately no rhyme or reason sometimes to explain or justify it either.

Agree---when did it become okay to take pleasure in someone's suffering---Why makes everyone so much holier than thou? You people by into the media too much---we are all human beings, we all make mistakes, we all suffer, we all die.....jfc...how sickening

Do we not all make foolish mistakes? For all the Christians on CS, remember the basis for our faith. Jesus taught forgiveness. I would not wish brain cancer on anyone, no matter who they are, we are all on this earth as brothers and sisters. Yes, let he that is without sin cast the first stone...INDEED. Thank you Joanie and Portiea. I agree whole heartedly. My prayers are with the Senator and the Kennedy family. May God bless them.
