From what women have said to me, their ex-husbands cheated with single women; some single women i have known or known of have cheated with married men. However, I don't have statistics, so am drawing conclusions form limited data, anecdotal evidence, etc. Not good.

I don't know...if there is an affair, and one is married and one is not, is the one not married a cheater too? Why---? That person did not make a committment to anyone? I'm not sure...don't know...just asking...I would never have a relationship with a married man or someone attached...even with a girlfriend. I've been cheated on and I know how it feels--it is devastating. I'd never do that to someone else. But it's an ethical choice...don't know if it is an issue of cheating or not.

Actually, cheating is one of the main reasons why people become single, therefore, doing a poll on a singles website will automatically give you skewed figures. This poll is therefore entirely inaccurate and does not represent society.
