I think people cheat for different reasons and they are applicable to both genders.

lack of communication within there relationship about problems.

seriel cheaters that are unable to be faithful

Attention seekers

Because the opportunity presents itself

Excitement.

Boredom

Clinging to youth.

they feel wanted

sure there's more but can't think of them
