Why do people put up pictures with naked body parts (chests for men, lots of revealing cleavage for women) or sexy poses?

Is it a good idea? Does it attract people who have serious intentions, or does it attract people who are mostly interested in sex?I honestly don't know but wonder if too sexy pictures of women attract men who are mainly interested in sex and men showing off without a shirt don't attract women who are looking for some relationship material..What do you think?

I've got to say that its pretty ridiculous some of the pictures I've seen. Have to wonder if these people have any self-respect at moments. If it was an "adult" site - then I could understand it - but truly, most should keep their clothes on as its usually not very flattering. Then they wonder why they are not taken seriously - turn on your brain and think about it.

Personally - I'd rather unwrap the gift myself (and not have it seen before by a million other people). To me its part of the excitement and anticipation of imagining what it will like when you are intimate. How that person will feel to my touch, how their skin will look, do they have hair on their chest or are they hairless) ...... its all about discovery and exploration. Hard to do that when the whole package has been revealed.

It makes me laugh when I see people in frisky poses or 'exposing' themselves on a dating site.

I'm not talking about more natural at the beach pics etc.. I do think those are different. But when they are deliberately 'Staged' to look sexy... I think it looks abit pathetic and desperate really. . Like look look what I can try to tempt you with ..

couldnt agree more.... i think its supposed to make them look cool... if only they knew... lol... when i see one of those pics i just laugh.... if they have to pose to get attention doesnt say a lot for them does it..... Question is if they are that sexy why arent all the women falling all over them .... hmmmm yay yay yay yay yay yay

Is it a turn off then, guys posing without their shirts, in bathing suits,or sexy poses? Do you skip these guys altogether? If they mail or flower you, do you ignore them cause of the picture?

Depends on the mail but to be honest it would put me off.... someone who needs to show themselves off like that to attract women is a bit silly to me.... am sure there are some nice guys out there who think its the right thing to do that its what women want but it puts me off .. how about you..............good morning by the way lol...yay

wave Morning bluebelle

Puts me off .... I like a good looking man, of course, but I go for brains and sense of humor....To my mind, a guy with a good brain doesn't try to sell himself body first...he's got more sense of his own dignity...that's how I feel about how I present myself, and I guess I look for the same in a man.

Well, I do think some people are very visually inspired and rather than having a problem with the posing and flesh exposure, find it sexy, sensual and romantic. Some men will marry women who have lived a very free sexual life because it doesn't bother them, they love the woman, and that is all that matters. Probably both these groups are pretty small minorities...don't know though, just guessing and speculating...something i don't like to do much...

thanks for your comments and input Newbeginningthumbs up wave

PUT THE SHIRT BACK ON ..lol...yay yay
