Take life as it comes, enjoy every moment for what it is, don't try to force anything that maybe not there, and make sure you boink his brains out at every given opportunity!!!

I hope that I do not step on anyones toes, or hurt there feelings on this.
But I feel that if you have found the one you are ment to be with, and he does not see it that way at least yet. Being engaged or trying to get him to marry you is not the way to go. Just be with him and let him come to see it on his own. And just enjoy being with him. Know in your heart that the time you have with him is special.
begging or demanding you get in engaged or married, looks like you are desperate, and that maybe you deep down are not sure that you are ment to be together, but your scared that you will lose what you have. You need to trust in him that he will come around and see what you see. If he doesn't then maybe you really wernt ment to be together. Maybe there is something there he see's that you are blind to. If you really love him then try and put trust in him. and put some trust into the relationship as well.
I guess bottom line is there are great things that can come out of each step of a relationship, if you let it. don't try to rush it you would be missing out on important momments that will strengthen your relationship for further down the road. JMO
