It was a while ago when I last read up on this stuff but the way they guage it is by determining what percentile of the population hold the same or similar score.. the highest percentile of people are in the 95 to 105 range and it goes from there....156.. veeerrry clever!!! my highest was 137 but I can range from 126 to 137.. so dunno.. perhaps I am somewhere in between

No joking aside IQ is hard to judge . For example , if someone scores 180 , yet chain smokes 6 packs a day ... is that person really intelligent??? Than you have to realize there are people that are socially retarded. The point I am trying to make is that intelligence is multi-dimensional.
