yes she does resemble a horse! My friend Ron thinks so as well.

The show did one thing, show how great an actress Kim Cattral is and how annoying Sarah Jessica Parker is.

Is it me or does she look like a horse?

I wasn't so hooked on the series, but have seen the movie. TWICE, AND LURRRRVED IT! (apart from the obvious excesses, and gee, I would just LOVE to have a g/f that would whisk her friends off to some island paradise when one of us needs cheering up!!! Where is she???). There is SO much truth in that movie, tons of real life stuff: importance of REAL friendship, hug broken hearts crying ,broken families, getting pregnant after adopting, finding out you are not being true to yourself, so you wake up one day, and know you just have to beapplause ....

On one level it is a celebration of materialism and disposable relationships but on another it kinda rises above that... all the girls ended up doing the traditional thing in the end... meeting Mr right and getting married/babies etc so the answer I suppose would be yes and no... cause the series shows how love and commitment are what we ultimately aim for.... but the journey with all its ups and downs can be fun!!..

I have to say I was never a fan of promiscuity on TV.. ya know where they say 'hello' and next thing ya know they are in bed... I always felt it cheapened sex a bit... Sex in the City has an abundance of that... but thats just my opinion.. smile

Considering it is based entirely on the American way of looking at things, wouldn't take it too seriously really.

Just a new hashed up Tv series based on the normal everyday situations that have been facing us since the day we were born.

With a little bit of extra sex thrown in to flavour it better.

And a load of good marketing to go with it.

But like any other blown up balloon, it will fizzle off into nothing as soon as the novelty wears off.

God forbid we have to take life on the guidlines provided by Ho0llywood script writers.

head banger

Aries I tend to agree with ya as regards the promiscuity and I think the girl I liked best was Charlotte she was the girl you could take home to your mother and she was/is not that promiscuis. Also not saying I watch the show religiously but it can be funny at times and there is a lot worse show out there.

I know what ya mean about it being a classic and I saw an episode last night which involved Samantha and her actor/waiter boyfriend. All Samantha could think of was his Cock as she called it. At times she can be to full on but at other times she can be funny.

You missed a great night on Saturday and I guess the weather put you off going. Well others never made it either and I think the weather paid a part in that. There will be other nights but we all had a great laugh and Marty is a large than life character and Kayt was very nice and as for the rest they were all great craic and we bopped and chatted till closing time.

I loved watching it because it was someone elses drama not my own. And its a New York City Life. Being a Utah didn't seem anything like the life I lead... Don't care for the comment of saying its american way of living... Unless I read it wrong... Not all American Women are the way those women life... And yes Sara Jessica Parker's Face resembles a horse but, have you looked in the mirror lately? None of us is perfect! Damn reading this forum really just put me in a mood!frustrated

It could only ruin dating for you if you take it seriously. I liked it, and there is some truth to be learned in it, like learning from others' mistakes.

And I think Sarah Jessica is cute. No, she's not classic beauty, but she's adorable anyway. Wish I could pull of dressing like she did on the show! I'd break my neck in those shoes though!
