I had a dream once where I was forced to disappear in order to protect myself from a compromising situation.

How far would you go?

Well lets see, I lived a nightmare once, And I changed my Identity, and moved more then 1000 miles away! Gave up everything I had. House, car, clothes and everything in between. It was either that or kill him. So I guess that establishes how far I would go. And what direction too!

I don't know....I face my problems head on and I don't run away...so about the only way I would disappear was if my life and the life of my children were in danger!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well maybe I watch to many movies. But I'd kick someones ass Charlies Angels style..................or I'd like to anyway

I had a violent childhood. I learned fairly quickly: if you don't fight back, you suffer. I have a CCW permit now. I have a glock 9mm short barrel ( same as the Ottawa county sherriff) that I love very much and if some one ever became an immediate threat , I'd use it in a heartbeat.


I know there are a lot of left-wingers on the CS site and I respect their opinion so respect mine. Law enforcement can take 45 minutes to respond to a call (believe me I KNOW) by then, you're dead.

Same here, and I hope you practice a lot, most people are not going to stand in one spot 5 or less feet away.
we also have to take a 2 day class here to get a ccw permit.

I totally agree princess...I have a permit to carry, and a desire to protect my family...I live in the country and police protection???if you could hold your breath that long you would be dead...Don't screw with me or my children...Didn't know, but am not surprised, there are a lot of left wingers here. A lot of that is PROBABLY because they have no freedom to protect themselves. They have no militia so, unfortunately will never have as much freedom as we do...Now knowing I will be attacked for an honest opinion I will say thank you all and to all a good night!

To protect myself I can't imagine how far I'd go but, I promise it won't be pretty for those who threaten me.
