What are your feelings on one night stands?

For them, hate them, ok sometimes. What about with a friend?
Does it ruin the friendship? What about with someone you met online?
What about afterwards, do you still chat or maybe ignore the fact you did the deed. What if it sucked? or if it was so-so? etc.....

I think they have a purpose. We all get horny and sometimes the need for a warm body can cause the mind to shut down all but the animal instincts. I admit I've had a couple or so.

Did have a one night stand with a friend once. It was okay, nothing I'd tell my best friend about. The friendship was fine afterwards.

As for online, I've been considering it. Haven't made up my mind yet. Thought I would seek advice.

I've never given them much thought I guess. I suppose I had a few close calls in my younger, partying days, but, er, they never manifested.

Now, at this <ahem> advanced age, I think of them even less. JMO.

Is that why your name is a alternate spelling of laid? I would've never guessed it! laugh

I've had a couple in my life, not something I make a habit of. Really, the only way I'd have a one night stand now is if the sex sucked.

On a serious note, I respect myself too much for the one night stand bit, and that's not even considering all of the nasty little things out there...but that's just ME...each to their own.

I dont think that it matters as long as you are honest and both people are on the same.

I have had them in my college years and damn that was a long time ago. I guess they are possible at our ages and honestly can't rule them out. But, I just don't see it happening at this age much!

There are sites if you just want to get laid and that's it.
