men and women arent 100% different animals



who says a guy would be sublimating his needs?
there are men who have the same emotional history as people like me- have decided sex cannot be a healthy and winning priority
and are happy to make sure everything else is lined up enuf to gamble on a long run before having sex

besides there may be some sexual things to some degree that are shared but thats each to his own, what we feel we can spare that wont be too painful if we part ways pretty soon.

there is a lot of sex to be had w/o becoming completely vulnerable-
and i know for sure
the dating relationships ive had-even for months long
-if they ended and we hadnt screwed i didnt feel like i was gonna die-
and for me thats no coincidence-thats how i am
and i am responsible for caring for myself emotionally

im not 16 if a guy is gonna make it a dealbreaker he is obviously not the one-no problem-its like a drunk or a smoker-im just not interested
and i get to choose-we all do

why is a woman defending and condoning men behaving like boys
reminds me of the responses i would have made to this topic
years ago

id have sex and then have to make it a relationship so i wouldnt feel shame-i realize this now
thats my reality and my dynamic and its not right or wrong

Sex is not a need...it is a want, a desire if you will. A need is something that you will either seriously suffer or die if you do not get...JMO, of course

sex wasn't the need. The need is in the expression of the feelings you have for someone, share the joy in being with them... and sometimes that is sex.
