Maybe I`m wrong but it seems that more time is put into idle chit chat rather than courtship.

I'm not actively looking because I've corresponded with a few ..... doesn't seem to lead anywhere or they don't respond to the invitation of me trying to get to know them better by asking some questions - so I'm skeptical at best.

From my experiences in the past - I've encountered people who seem truly intent on getting to know you, but they I find out that they are also intent on getting to know others at the same time .......... so I'm really not into that. So hence, my decision to indulge in some interaction in the forums and have a few laughs.

I try to keep my emotions out of it ........ creates a lot less grief and disappointment. I'm grateful to the one that is a friend ...... despite my flaws - its wonderful to be open and honest and just me - don't need to impress - simply just be.

"you only find what you're looking for when you stop looking"

Kinda like in the winter and your looking for those really warm mittens that you bought the year before, you figure you lost them and buy another pair.

then when you least expect, you find your really warm mittens when you clean out the linen closet in the 3rd week of May.
