drinking my kid is not the brightest light on the block, he wanted money, so he didn't really bother going to college at first, and started working crap jobs @ 12-15 hours a day 6 days a week. Still never had much money-because they were crap jobs. It only took him 2 years to figure out that he needed an education. The transformation from working so hard to going to school was tremendous though. His face got younger and his whole persona got mellower. I'm proud of him because I know it wasn't easy. He respects me, and if you've ever read my blog, he loves me-he says we owe each other our lives, and that is true. His friends respect me as well, and I get lotsa hugs from whoever is around. teddy bear

doubtful that you are a mean mean anything!laugh sticking out tongue My mom babies my son as well. Irritates the crap outta melaugh On the other hand, he's the only grandchild she has, and she's the only grandparent he has, so it's okay. They have much love and a deep relationship-they soothe each other's souls. It's kinda cute to watch. My mom had a miscarriage when I was about 7, so she missed out on having a boy. bouquet of flowers

I bet the 'ladies' themselves were calling themselves much worse names than the OP - and laughing their heads off about it too - probably with their mates as well laugh

I never said your son wasn't a virgin-I said you will be amazed at what he tells you, which knowing boys could be any thing under the sun. I am glad you are proud of your son, I'm sure that most of us are proud of our kids. You son is not the issue.

The issue is the double standard of this thread. Could you please explain to me how people can crucify a kid who is just about 18 or so for having a fling with some older people, yet some married woman gets so much comfort over bleating on and on about her married "boyfriend"? That's the part I don't get. I cannot in my mind, make a connection as to how or why it happened. Marriage is a commitment and within that, I cannot understand how someone can come on here, shout out his name and start waffling on and on about him, yet both be in committed relationships. Explain that to me. That is what I need to understand. Are so many people THAT unfaithful that they can relate to adultery, yet so anal that they cannot relate to a kid's sexual coming of age? Seriously, I don't get it.

I personally didn't know she was still (!!) married, till you asked her. I think she mentioned being in the process of divorcing her husband?

Hey, P, like your new pic (though any chance of your putting some others up that aren't blurry?)

My God, just saw you're only 31!!?? I thought from your writing that you were much older. Loved your "not any fun at all" comment in your profile.
