for me it would be the mobile/cell phone. even though its convenient, people are over doing it by misusing it. for example, going to the cinema to watch a film, and somebody's phone rings or receives an sms.

its also a kind of a pain, in the sense that we normally carry it along wherever we go, and thus end up always contactable!! ok, somebody might say switch it off, but that defeats the scope of having a mobile phone.

Wouldn't be the cell, how many lives has those things saved? jmo
Maybe the car but then that defeats the purpose of the cell, getting in contact with rescue faster.
We'd all work and live closer to home and the community would be more in touch with each other. If we didn't have cars, the community would develop within itself, we wouldn't have to drive 30 miles to work.
Excuse me, I have to get in my car and go out to dinner so I know nothing.
Excellent topic though. thumbs up

In a perfect world, some aspects of the internet. I am all for the internet, but if we could just erase all the harmful websites that are predatory towards kids, I would be for that.

The cell phone. Things were just fine before the cell phone. I hate how people are so clingy with their cell phones. It's an extra bill that I can really do without. My telepathy is improving thoughtlaugh

I really dont like answerphones - or it could be the people who leave pointless messages 5 times a day but I couldnt really get away with eliminating them grin

a couple of weeks ago I just left it full up till everybody had finished telling me to empty it - that was the best way I could think of to let them know that I find the thing a pain in the butt and unless they really need to, then please leave it free for mesages that may be a little more urgent than "its just me........." mumbling
