eggs become the size of pigeon eggs? Who sets the standards on egg sizes? And are they blind?

Well yes, it's the chickens themselves that call the grade.
Everytime an egg is laid the vacuum created causes the eyes to get sucked a little further into the hens head. Thus making the eggs
' appear' larger.
So by Dec 21 2012 the eggs will be so small that you'll need tweezers to get the eggs out of..... oh wait we won't need anything after then.

Never mind! (my mom said I never did)

As part of the push for globalisation, and low cost country sourcing, they've imported "pygmy chickens". So expect your eggs to be a little smaller, and you get fit more eggs into a normal carton for a little bit extra.

I am unable to respond to your e-mails...and don't know how you are e-mailing me as all my e-mail functions are off. Didn't want to mention it here...but no other way to contact you. Got tired of all the hate mails yesterday so I turned off the e-mail function!
