gentlepaws wrote:It's all slipped away, your relationships, your looks, vitality, health etc. I write this from the perspective of a 61 year old man who feels like 21 when I see a beautiful woman. We are every age that we have ever been. The body ages, and it shows, but the mind remains all ages. That is the dilemma. The greatest sex that I've ever had was with women over forty, why ? I believe that older women are truly sexual. Younger women use their looks as currency, like a credit card, they cruise on their looks as a shiny object in a store window.
A toast to older women, experienced, truly passionate, and know what to tell a man when it comes to pleasing them, instead of just going along for the ride.
For the under 40's, you'll get there, and you will understand.
Ecellent thread!!!!
Well chosen words........
Let's add if I may.....
I would choose a different angle to the younger ones....they THINK they can use thier looks as currency.....that is what they have been made to percieve.
Have met a lot of younger women who have lots of problems coming to terms with thier own sexuality. Trying too hard to impress in whatever it is that they have been made to think is supposed to be cool. It is only when they have experienced and grow older that they do find themselves.
In answer to another post above.....why do men seem to leave the forty year old partner to go for a 20 year old?
Easy and thruthfully.....because even men go trou menapause. It's around the mid forties that such things occur.....the ralization that hits home that u are getting older. Together with the undexcribable desire to prove to yourself and to all the rest that u are still a roaring male macho and go out to prove it.
I know. Been there, done that. Up until u wake up and u are at peace with yourself, and u find that good sex alone is not good enought anymore. An older woman is more stimulating in more then a million other ways that younger women may not deliver, and not just sexually either...
so.....
a toast to the more mature ladies.....
