We spend so much of our time on here .. chatting , discussing , arguing while trying to find someone special or making friends or just filling our time with some humor ... We get angry , offended , sad or happy ... learn , support and grow .

I wonder if at times it gets too heavy on your mind ? difficult to handle ? When someone close is sad or sick .... someone's going thro' unthinkable problems ... do you feel like you have grown a bond with this place and people ? Strange as it is .. a lot of people whom you know thro' their words and emotions .. have become a part of our daily life and existence.

But yeah.. sometimes it does get a bit much... I just don't come on then.

Also I find it hard being so far from my 'Friends' when I think they could do with a hand with something.. or a bit of cheering up.. or I want to give them a big fat hug or a pep talk.. There are sooo many of them I would love to be able to socialise with .. be closer too .. just so we COULD all met up for dinner or what ever.

That would be FUN too.

When i want to kill an hour or so, have a break, automatically i come on to these forums.....and feel 'at home' by finding names that have now become 'the gang'.

In days gone by, I would probably get in the car and pop in to my local drinking hole to do that. Now it's my desk and the lap top.

So far away, yet so many on here are in effect so close. Humanity has the need to belong. To be part of something. Wether one looks for love, a relationship, a partner, or like myself, is content to be single, yet we all share one need......

I was just thinking that I've made a few really close friends here, and they seem every bit as real and solid as anyone I know. In fact, I fell in love with someone here, so I'd say there's something all-too-real about this experience...

Sometimes i find it so taxing i dont come on here and next step is take a break esp. when theres cribbing or fighting all over ..

Me too .. there are people whom you feel a bonding with and i would llovee to be closer to them .. so we could catch up on the little things in life .. fun that would be.

I think it can when things in out RL's are already heavy....I know the negativity gets to me at times and I find myself getting negative along with it.....and yes it's hard when good friends are sick and there is nothing we can do for them....I think the bonds we form here are a little thicker than we like to let on because as soon as someone is missng....everybody notices and wonders about them....this is much more than a singles site in my mind and in fact I stopped thinking of it as such a long time ago....I think we get used to each other being part of our daily existence and it's comforting to come here and see friends and familiar faces.....
