Analog tv to Digital

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the problem I am having getting the government to mail me the coupon for the converter box??? went online and ordered the coupon but was rejected cause previous tenants had already ordered it and received, so my address is not valid to receive one now. I did fill out a appeal form,but I haven't heard back yet??
Any other problems also to do with it??

TV strike here.

What can I say, I'm a weirdo.
There are 6 54'' plasmas at work going full tilt all the time any way.
I'll just retire my little 14" tv.

You only need the converter box if you use an ancient system called an antenna. If you have cable or a dish, you do not need it..

I know but when I bought my Tv a year ago it was supposed to have been digital. I went online and looked up its model number recently and it is a Analog tv.
Walmart does not know its ass from a hole in the ground, they told me it was digital. I can't do anything about it now.

I am already receiving digital service through my provider so I dont need one, thus no need for the coupon. I know this doesnt help you, but can do some digging to see what I can come up with

I have to use antenna , I can't afford cable or satelite and it is a Analog tv, so I must use the converter box !

They are not doing the coupon thing in the UK as far as I know..

I haven't heard (or read) anything about

So I don't know what those with analogue tvs are meant to do.

It's a US thing. A Federal Law was passed that in Feb 2009 all television broadcast stations would broadcast signals in digital format only. I believe the purpose was to free up frequencies for public safety broadcasts. There is probably more to it than that, but dont ask me
