They did an electro cardiogram on me and it was good, along with my blood oxygen levels but they saw other stuff they werent happy about but me being smart arse and told them i had saved them the ambulance money each way (£600 ladies and gents, thats what calling an ambulance costs) and then saved them the money for the use of the bed on the ward.

All i wanted was the antibiotics asap and make sure my nephew didnt call party time at my place when i wasnt there.

I quit investigating it on the web because there is so much misinformation out there. When I found out that I didn't have it, I was relieved, but then again, I gotta be careful what antibiotics I take as they say every bout of anaplylaxis is twice as worse as the last one.

Personally, I'd prefer to forget about it. I don't know all the terminology and reasons behind a lot of the stuff, just what I've been told. What I do know is that I have one he** of a hospital bill from the last time. That is in black and white, no debate on that one....

thank God for the good old NHS.....fabulous care for my daughter and absolutely no charge.....Im so glad to be British.....

that's a common misconception..pnuemonia can hhit a healthy person and at any age ..there are over 200 different types of pnuemonia and only less than a hundred that are common..there is no way of knowing how one is comprimised and it had nothing to do with a weakend immune system ..it can start as a cold or the flu and turn into pnuemonia in the blink of an eye..it affects more bodily systems than just the lungs..i had it when i was 35 yrs old ...was never sick a day in my life..so being elderly or ill to acquiring pnuemonia is a common misconception...and it can be deadly..
Jim Henson the muppeteer who created the muppets and fragglerock died from a rare form of pnuemonia in 1993...not all forms have treatments available ..it IS a very serious illness.....

yes- i was hospitalised last christmas day ( great timing what with all those bikes to get put togetherlaugh ), with pleurisy ( infection/inflammation of the two linings of your lungs- damn sore let me tell you) and pneumonia. I was told i had 'community acquired pneumonia' which as a district nurse, isn't that strange i suppose.
