Their names elude me but not having the green thumb I'm wondering if I can transplant them with harming them. Any green thumbers here?

The one on the right, on the left is a sedum that even I could not kill, but the left one has gigantic blooms but I
think someone told me once they're frigile and I shouldn't move them.

iv recently had to do the same too , 2 of my outdoor bonsai were weakening due to the location so the best way to move your plants would be to mark at least 4 inches either side of said plants and move them with the soil itself ,generally if your plants are thriving in the soil they live in then dont just move the plant move its bed too .

that way you lower the risk of them not taking to the soil at the new section of bed .

hope this helps wine

The top picture on the right...might be a peony but I'm not sure. The red one may be an astilbe.

I transplant things all the time and they don't die.

Just make sure you don't cut into the roots, make the hole large enough, keep the roots moist and plant the plant in a place that is similar to where it was before (shade, sun or partial sun).

Water it well after transplanting and for a few days after if the weather doesn't give you rain.

Be brave and your thumb will turn green. grin

Very good advice. I have a house full of plants and many outside. I agree... the one on the right does look like a peony. I have 4 of them.

The one on the left, I do not know its name. Do the leaves and stems feel "rubbery"? If so, it's a succulent and is easily transplanted and propagated. If you want to have more of them, just snip a piece off and stick it in the soil and water. They are very easy to grow.

Why do you want to move them? They look so healthy where they are.

Don't know the name of the red one either, but snips of it will grow in the soil also. It is a hearty plant.
