According to the headline from the the Brisbane Courier Mail of August 14, 2007, "Bush loses his brain" one can reasonably expect to see mental institutions busing and trucking their patients down to the polls in the US to vote for the Bush wars, just like when Kennedy was elected, as I was living in Washington DC at the time and everyone was laughing over all the patients from St. Elizabeth Mental Hospital were taken down to vote for him ...even the ones in the psycho wards...lovely system...%D

(speaking of mental issues: headline from the Sunday Times, July 29, 2007: "Scientists breed world's first mentally ill mouse" ...just what every household needed!) %D

That's similiar to college students that vote in their home state (mail in) and also in the state where they attend college. It's difficult to cut out all the corruption.

This year the supreme ct. upheld a law passed in Indiana that required a legal i.d. before voting. People went nuts that they would have to prove who they are.... D'oh!

The minority govt. in Canada has or is still attempting to change voting rights there by making it mandatory that people must have a fixed address before they can vote, never mind who they are...it is basically just another method to cut down on the numbers of eligible voters...but not as bad as voting machines that count votes backward or can be hacked into and re programed to cast your vote to the opposite of your choice...by the very company that produces the machines...Diebolt is the name, I believe... lovely.

Vote is pretty much what I expected. Open it up to the world and of course they would take it as their opportunity to finally bring us completely down to their level with the worst possible choice.
Maybe when the US wakes up (different time zones and all) the vote for McCain will go back up.

I remember treading that somewhere years ago.It goes to prove that the system is rotten to the core when the mentally ill are marched out to vote.

That has to be morally wrong at least, and their clearly not competent enough to vote as their in there so its not far off kidnapping in my book and asking someone to do something under duress.

Shows how dumb some people can be Indy. You would have thought that they would be grateful a string of security was added to ensure nobody stole their vote!!

Sometimes people over there dont make sense, and that is a prime examplegrin

ok I hav always stayed away from discusing politics because it is the quickest way to loose friends and make enemys but I guess I will post on this what the......

my vote goes to mccain for this reason...... while the dems. always claim to be for the working class as I see it NO politican is for the working class. the whole government healthcare thing gets me a little scaired..... what are they going to cut or raise to give us this? or are they going to use the tipical government tactic and just spend the money and not worry if we have it or not? and lastly and most important I am very decidedly pro-life.
