LOL is that US dollars?

Robbie is right that is not much money these days..

Could buy a nice car maybe....

If it were £500K, that would make me an almost millionare in the US

Half a Million pounds might just about get you a house in St Albans these days. You wont even have change for the council tax that year.

And for half a million you wont be getting a mansion believe me.

I could take you around say St Albans in a day, and spend a million really easily on a house, decorations and just fixtures. You might get a nice Audi to drive by the end of the day and some nice art on your walls and some lovely furniture but spending a million is easy.

Anyone want me for a style consultant your more than welcome, i matched stone from Spain with Italian Marble tiles in my kitchen, designed it myself right down to the handles.Unfortunately the nephew has mad it unusable for me but thats another story!!

A designer bathroom or two you can easily spend a fortune. Kitchen easily £15k without even going to marble or corian surfaces, i'm just talking quality cabinets and real wood doors.

Add designer appliances, a good stereo such as a cyrus, replastering wiring redecoration, a million you can spend in a day no trouble at all.Oh lunch included at wagamama on me.

I'd buy more stock.

The dividends from the stock that I own now support me.

The increased values of the stocks I have sold from stock splits have given me the resources to buy one house free and clear. Then I sold that house at a profit that paid in full for the next house.

$500,000 may get you a nice interest return in a CD or a lot of cool stuff, but I'll stick with what has worked for me.......

Although I have been tempted to buy a hot little convertible. laugh

LOL think I will steer clear of St Albans Robbie... a certain person from my recent past is from there...

Even in humble ole Milton Keynes £500K doesn't buy you much. Pretty scary for first time buyers.

cheers
