The cops are on their way, but what should I do now and what should I have done.

Thank you Friksmal. We'll be pressing charges in the next day or two. And I am taking it easy. Now if I could just calm the kids down about all of it I'd lose a bit of stress. laugh Thank you.

I am not violent either, but don't mess with my kids... I just know that if it was me in your shoes, I would be responding for a lot... and that 20 yr would be in the hospital and later in jail...very mad

Now... How old are your children? She is of legal age, you could beat the crap out of her and claim self defense, or let your sons have a go with those nice baseball bats...

I lose all kinds of sanity when it comes to my kids, I get borderline demented...

Believe me... if you don't press charges and follow through, she'll think she can get away with it... and she'll try again next time. But if she does, make sure your girl and your boy know how to defend themselves, and if the shit hits the fan in your own backyard, you can also charge her with trespassing...

I really hope your back is ok, and that your kids are well. Know your boundaries, within the law, know how far you can go... but don't let her get away with this.

Hope all turns out well bouquet of flowers

He's actually not my boy, my daughters boyfriend. The kids were trying to protect me. And the funny thing is, all of the kids are bigger than me. laugh

She left as soon as the police were called and no one has seen her since.

Like I told the boys - my mom always said dynamite comes in small packages. We dont't have to be big to handle the situation.thumbs up

I wish it were. When I'm not so sore, I guess tomorrow, I'll go file charges and then, of course, we'll end up having to go to court. It's worth it though to get her butt locked up.

The boys are planning to teach my daughter how to fight, which is good, though as I explained to her last night, she doesn't want to be the kind of person that Nikki is, just needs to know how to defend herself.

My daughter is 12. The other kids aren't mine, but they are 15.

I think that's an excellent idea!

My boy will start street-fighting lessons next week. cool

I DID IT!!!!

We went today and brought charges of assault against Nikki. applause applause for us.

The thing I was upset about was that Brandons dad was only going to charge her for his assault if I REALLY needed him to. It pissed me off because how can you not defend your kid when someone punches him so hard his face hurt for 2 days.

So, the commissioner put the charges for Brandon on my warrant, so she is charged with assault for all 3 of us and I'll just take the boys to court with me.

So, I wanted to let you all know, because people were thinking I wouldn't do it because I didn't last week. But last week, my back was still pretty bad. I also still have a bad bruise, swelling, and knot where she kicked me in the groin. mumbling Bad place to hurt. laugh

So there is no way Em will want to go anywhere today. She wants to see her in handcuffs. rolling on the floor laughing

I'll also let you know that the cop did a good job with his description so I do think that will help.

So... YAY for us!!

uh oh! I've never had to do anything like this before so it does freak me out a little. help
