I have learned many things, probably way to many to list here, especially tonight. Senile old men do need to get their rest once in a while.

Only 6 more weeks before I leave for Sturgis. I will need all the rest I can get before I go (and after I get back)..

One special thing I did learn. Others shared the experience with me and I was not willing to listen, I had to find out for myself. What makes me think another would listen to me?

Maybe... but I have to agree with the OP that in the main being comfortable in ones own skin, does make it alot easier to be accepting of others... insecure people can be quite dangerous in my experience.... because of their low opinion of themselves they tend to need to compete with others, bring them down, and are often ego driven...

If you really want to known who is a good friend then just look back to the time when you were in difficult moments. The one who was there to console you is definitely the one who is your true friend. A good friend never fails to see the right in you and will always take a little courage to correct the wrong in you.
