I erase their profile .. I can't beleive CS would screw with someone's profile like that!

The why is simple, they're insecure about something about themselves, and don't want you to know at first, cause they think you won't be interested if you know. And that it won't matter once you find out. Might work for some, not for me.

A lie is a lie to me and I csn't abide liars, but there is this weird streak in me that has to satisfy itself as to why someone would do that, so I sit and listen and learn.......... then leave.

Here's what I think you're entitled to do - and should do - Darlynda: tell the person politely but firmly that since s/he lied about appearance or other important points that you will now be taking your leave.

The most awkward moment might be the initial meeting. You walk into a restaurant or whatever and see the person is 10 years older or 100 lbs. heavier than their photos. I believe one would be completely justified in saying to them what I wrote above, but very few of us would find that an easy task.

Well it's not very clever to start off lying even before you meet someone, so is it worth it, afterall the truth always comes out in the end..

I'd slap them about the chops after placing their caesar salad bowl on their heads....

I would refuse to meet someone until after we chat using a web cam and video like on MSN or Skype or Sight Speed. That way you can see what they look and sound like live. Nothing is better then LIVE image.

Of course that cant prevent them from lieing still about how old they are or other things but it helps.

I dont know why people lie..if they plan to meet anyone...it really dont make any sence

It makes no sense to me why someone would lie, since if planning to meet will be caught. Since I am not meeting anyone I can lie all I want.
