I usually avoid threads that ask for advice, then the author turns on anyone who doesn't agree with them. I read one earlier tonight and was amazed at how just plain stupid some people can be.

Stay away from a woman spurned thread, hell knows no fury.......

I had read through that whole thread myself. My final thought was that, I believe one to be a little low on self esteem mixed with being highly intoxicated ...drowning her sorrows, if you will. hug

When your feeling low your often are unable to think rationally, take things the wrong way, and post things we later regret, when i feel like that i try not to post at all

I, too, read the thread, and while everyone can pass around the judgement bottle and take a swig, the fact was lost in the thread itself. The women on there had nothing to do with her before, not even so much as a wave, yet they felt the need to add there 2 cents, which to me, looks like one big set up to a disaster, and it was. They got what they wanted. Satisfaction in seeing a person who is already confused and in pain, humiliated. Good job.2 thumbs up

I'm not about to get into some sort of battle about it Sweetie. Yes, this is a public forum, anyone can say what they chose to anyone else. My opinion of the whole thing still stands. I'm just sorry I wasn't here during it. Trust me, I wouldn't have just stood by and watched the carnage.

I disagree Leo. I asked for advice yesterday and received lots of good and caring advice when I most needed it. I turned to my friends here and they came through for me.

It takes two to make a dialog , can't say i remember having a wave either.

I am sorry the OP was distress, however she did ask for opinion and was given. After the response i had , with out even posting an opinion, i will in future refrain from giving my views to anyone i consider a stranger.

I'm considering doing exactly the same thing with people I don't know too well on here from now on.

I always thought that anyone had the right to post their opinion in a thread. I never realised it was only friends only that were allowed to post. When I log onto the forums I usually just post in the ones where the topic is of interest to me.
