It is good that many of us have learned that the only way to get anywhere is to be responsible and do it ourselves, work for it, as you have stated.
What about people who think everyone OWES them something?
Those with VICTIM mentality?
Those who carry deep BITTERNESS within, who play the BLAME GAME?
Not everyone has arrived to the level of Responsibility they should be at. Not everyone has OVERCOME the burdens which have been laid on them.
I believe that as Responsible Overcommers, that we should be here to encourage those who are still struggling. Not an enablers, but as a strength, to show them a better way, to share our stories that they may know that they too can Overcome lifes difficulites and be responsible and have JOY!
This is why I post these types of interacting threads. Not for the purpose of exposing the faults of others, that they may be rediculed!!!
I would hope that to NEVER happen on these threads. But that we may be able to help others to live in the FREEDOM which was ment to be theirs!
Now Indy, I would like you to think on this...
In reference to your last statement,
"(on a side note, when I hear people ask presidential candidates, "what are you going to do for me?" I ) How pathetic..."
Noooooooooooo!
These politicians are elected by the people, for the purpose of representing the people and the desires of the people. It is all about what they are going to do for US if elected!!! Too many politicians as of late, have NOT listened to the people. They are doing whatever they want, not what the people want.
In this light, I would ask you to reconsider your statement.
