When I get emails from people that I have not initially interacted within the forums, my general response is: Please, join the international forums, it's a terrific way to get to know a person.

Once in awhile, they ask why I just don't talk to them one on one and I end up just saying the same thing I had said in the previous email. When I do get nasty grams like the one you mentioned, I respond by thanking them. Then telling them that they just proved my initial response to them and I love being right!
I never hear from those ones again

I think its perfectly ok not to reply to a stranger if you dont want to .. its a choice of free will .

If the other person gets offended because you want talk .. well .. what can u do .. thats how i see it.

And provocation is an excellent technique to make someone reply. I got abuse in return for saying for saying thankyou but i am not interested.

No, I would not and I would also block that person, after the first email. I wouldn't give someone like that a chance to email me a second time. I have gotten emails similar to yours and I block them IMMEDIATELY!!!!

I can't always be a puddin can i?laugh

It means if you were feeling guilty? What's the problem if someone tells me that i will always be ingle because i'm arrogant?grin

Girl, we use "why bother" for anything, not that things really bother...way of expression.

"am i fat?"
- why bother

uh oh!

that is asuming too much from a firt mail

now a days, where people are on line at work, and also IM with friends while they are supose to be working, a mail asking id she is working, as to avoid bothering her at her job you are asuming it is rude

the second mail is the one that actually prouve he was rude

why dont people give the benefit of the doubt?

will you block some one for his mispellings (he might be a scamer)

or will you block somme one that is 102 years old because he does not fit your requiremebt of being not older than 99

dont you think that if we all give the benefit of the doubt in the first time we are aproached this world would be a better place?
