could you witness an execution??

Only reason I thought of this is, the tv program I was watching ended with a guy being put to death in prison by the needle.

I don't think I could just sit & watch anybody die.

i think it'd depend on who's being executed. i'd sure like to witness the execution of bin laden and some of his followers.

Have you seen the movie "Cirizen Verdict" Jerry Springer is actually not bad in it. AQ movie about a reality show where people call in to vote guilty or not guilty. Then the execution takes place on national TV. Not a bad movie, really!!

No...that wouldn't be something I would or could ever do....although I am in favour of capital punishment for certain crimes...I could never watch someone die....Even watching an animal die makes me cry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I saw it on tv I know it is only hollywood but I still consider that I just watched an execution, I saw Mel Gibsons movie (passion of the Christ ) and felt like had witnessed the event, I think that is why so many people reacted so strongly to the movieto me it seemed like watching the real thing , but then when I watch a documentary on
another country like can really seem like a mini vacation to me

That is a good question,I was thinking about it myself,and for now i am sure that I would not be able to do that,sit and watch somebody die....that must be a horrible experience ....

I certainly could witness a prosecution. In fact, If the wages was good I wouldn't mind the executioners job myself as a career

I could only do it to truly evil people though that had commited evil hideous crimes
