Can't think of one with Robin Williams on an island... Are you thinking of Tom Hanks?

It was a horror movie I saw years ago on Elvira's show.

The name was "The Thing In The Cellar" and the monster was a beach ball with Airdale hair glued to it.

Low budget, bad-acting. The most horrifying thing about it was the dialogue...

Yep, it should have won an Elvira award.yawn D'oh!

Boy did it suck... Could not take it after the first 10 mins. Good thing I watched it on dvd and could switch it off.

I have to admit it.. the trailers did it for me.. I *had to see* what the monster was.. ..and I'm not one to talk during movies but I kept asking outloud.. "uh.. so when do we see the monster? ...hey there it.. nope it's gone again.."

I thought "Castaway" was a good movie.

Like you, I thought the ending was very sad.
