I don't care how tall a guy is if he doesn't. Some men have a complex about being short, that's a turnoff to me. I actually prefer short to average height guys, much over 6' isn't my preference, tho that wouldn't stop me either if I liked someone. Height just jsn't a big deal.

The picture thing, well I prefer to respond to someone when I can at least see them, but if I've talked to someone on the forums enough to know what kind of personality they have, I'd reply to them. But someone I've never talked to who doesn't have some kind of picture up, it's just a little iffy to me, like maybe they've got something to hide.

Very good thread and as others have said, it's not just height discrimination. I happen to be very slim, skinny in most women's eyes, and I think I am passed up a lot for this reason. Other than my weight, which I can not control anymore than most overweight people, I am a decent, hard working man, the typical "nice guy". I am very happy for you and also very happy for your man. You sound like you are both derserving people of some happiness. Thanks for letting me vent on behalf of all us discriminated men.
