And because of my family, I've lived in many places... some of them being overseas. My family may be dysfunctional (whose actually isn't to some extent?) but I'm glad for what I had.
I have often wondered what it'd be like to be an animal & live their life. I usually imagine a domesticated animal, such as a pet dog or cat. They get to lay around all day, while someone takes care of them. But then again, they don't decide when they eat or (for a dog) go to the bathroom. And they get tied to a leash. They often get scolded for doing what is second-nature to them. And I also think I'd be verrrrry bored just staying inside on a beautiful day & not being able to come & go as I please.
hi sweetowen !
THANKS FOR JOING THE THREAD AND FOR GIVING US "SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT "
you sound like an interesting person to talk to ...with lots to say for herself
don't laugh but when ever i watch some of the movies set in different time periods ( like charles dickens 'oliver twist' set georgian times ) it makes me wish i could be around during those days !
also another part of me wishes i could be born 200 years in the future just to see what it would be like !
i can idetify about what you said about wishing that you were from a different family at times !... and i sometimes wonder ..because even though i'm never jealous of anybody or anything i sometimes admire the way some families ralli round and support each other ( or just acheive great things together !
you sound like you've had an interesting life ! ..bet you got some interesting stories to tell !
i'm not really sure how to properly describe a disfunctional family ..but thats also a good topic for debate !
if was to be an animal ..i would.nt be a cat or dog
why would you give up the only opportunity you had to aquire wings ?...no man i'd become a bird !!
thanks for joining and liveing up the threads with your comments !
