I don't think I'd stick around long......

I'm pretty family oriented so I wouldn't put him through that. His family should be more important

and I wouldn't want to visit his family and have the animosity.


On the flip side, my family (parents, siblings) know not to play those games and just accept the BF/GF.

It's easier to accept them and have a good time with the family.

I'd stay with the person but make it clear I would not be associating with his family and if he expected otherwise then he could dream on professor
