If I get really revved up I can swear like a trooper to be honest.

I have my moments.

The one person to this day I do not swear in front of is my Dad, there is no way in my lifetime out of respect for him would I do that.

Same here, I don't curse around my foster parents, and I have never heard either of them curse..ever.

Does not matter to me. It's just words.

I do laugh when some people say fudge instead of fuck, shoot instead of shit, darn it instead of damn it, gosh dang it instead of god damn it, and frickin crap instead of fuckin shit. I know what they wanna say, but they think they can sugarcoat profanity by using those alternative words like it makes them better people or something. To me, it's just words and does not matter to me.
I can say that I do watch what I say in front of certain kinds of people.....not all the time though...aint nobody going to suppress my individual freedom and right to expression.grin

I definitely get annoyed with someone who cannot complete a sentence w/o cursing. Worked with someone like that last year, a woman, in fact. It was constant f*** this and f*** that, in the office all day long..and not just the f word but every other curse word too...I wanted to tell her to get a vocabulary....and sometimes I would try to tease her about it ... hoped she might see it was a bit to much and bothered people...but she didn't care.

I swear, when I'm in the mood, usually when I am alone or with people I am really comfortable with....on here sometimes for fun or just because...but in RL, never at work, I work in a professional setting and it is not normally acceptable, and generally, not in public...

So, the question which is worse: the person who can't finish a sentence w/o cursing.cheers

I cursed quite a bit when I was a teen. After I had my daughter, I used substitutes instead. Like "fudgecicles" instead of f**k, son-of-a-bum instead of son-of-a-b**ch, and I always say "you bad word!". People laugh at that one! I just don't like swearing. And if I think a guy is swearing too much when he's trying to impress me, I let him know.

People who don't curse (along with people who don't drink or smoke, or at least one of the three) make me pretty uncomfortable. Some of them are repressed walking time bombs waiting to go off any minute!

I guess I'm one of those sugarcoating people! I just don't think it sounds nice. It also depends on the company you're in, ya know?

A happy medium of occasional swearing works the best, none would be intolerable.... if I was dating someone that didn't, I'd have to sneak out and swear at pigeons or something! and a woman with a total gutter mouth would be a complete turn off!!

Mix in the occasional fuck me sideways with a baseball bat at appropriate moments and I'm as happy as a pig on brown stuffgrin

plus ....."oh gosh, please take me much harder" don't quite have the same ring as the usual.........
