I filled my tanks today to the tune of $650.00. The prices on everything else are getting ready to really start climbing because of the cost of fuel.

I never understood why "more is never enough and too much is just right" is a perfectly acceptable attitude for people to have in regard to the vehicle they drive and the rescources that it consumes (amongst other things). I dont like spending as much as three times as much now as I was six years ago but the part that really ticks me off are the bloated weasles that are raking in a huge profit under false pretenses and the spoiled brats in office that set it all up for them. We need to pay a alterative fuel tax that is solely devoted to the development of viable, renewable, non-polluting and self-sustaining sources of energy, not spend all this extra money to make a bunch of shadowy fortunes even larger and further entrench an already disgraceful domestic energy policy.

Years ago I had a '71 Ford Bronco with two gas tanks. If I filled both it would have cost $30 then. I don't even want to think of what it would be like today.

I may end up buying a motorcycle sooner than planned

Exxon and Mobile are no longer two separate entities, they are one big company now. Take a good look at the profits for the first quarter of this year for Exxon/Mobile, $8.4 billion

After retiring, I got bored so I started a limo and transportation service... Last year I barely broke even, and between $3.09 a gallon and over $1,000 a month for liability insurance. My limo is now for sale. How do trucking companies stay in business????

You charge the customer more, easy.

To ad about complaints.
If you where a timberjack. How much would gas have to cost before you started using axe and saw again? I bet you would pay $20 a gallon. Think about that. Gas prices are actually not high, you are only used to use the fluid frequently without the need to consider can I afford it.
Do I really need to drive a block? So get used to it, because in our lifetime gas prices will skyrocket.
This because western goverments want to liberate them self from eastern economic influenses.
